Question types

Choose the type when you select Add question in the Builder, or change it later with Type in the question editor. Availability is category-specific.

Type	Answer format
Rating scale	A rating within a configured range, with numeric or visual presentation.
Likert scale	A response on a fixed agreement or other labelled scale.
Multiple choice	One option.
Multi-select	Several options.
NPS	A rating from 0 to 10.
Open text	Written input, with text, phone, or email variants where configured.
Slider	A value along a range.
Forced choice	A choice between statements.
Ranking	Options ordered by preference.
Date	A date.
Matrix	Several rows answered against a shared scale.
Image choice	A choice represented by an image.

Assessment and Survey offer all 12 types. Quiz offers multiple choice, open text, multi-select, ranking, and image choice. 360 feedback offers rating scale, Likert, open text, and matrix.

Availability does not imply automatic grading. Open text and dates do not produce numeric blueprint scores. Ranking uses mappings for individual options. See Scoring rules before choosing questions for a scored dimension.
