Assessment categories
Choose an assessment, survey, quiz, or 360 feedback workflow.

| Assessment | Measure chosen skills, attitudes, or competencies. | Blueprint dimensions and archetypes; configurable result feedback. |
| Survey | Collect opinions and feedback. | Response analysis and assessment comparison; no result-configuration tab. |
| Quiz | Collect answers to knowledge questions. | Correct-answer configuration for supported types and quiz analytics. Pass rates need a pass mark, which you set through the API. |
| 360 feedback | Collect multiple people's feedback about a subject. | Campaigns, rater categories, nominations, reports, development plans, and optional pulse follow-ups. |
Blueprints can support both ordinary assessment and 360 scoring. Building an assessment in Datatrap does not by itself establish psychometric validity; select and validate the instrument for its intended use.
Choose the category when creating the assessment. If you chose the wrong workflow, create a separate assessment in the appropriate category before collecting responses.
